US is prepare to work with Taliban

WASHINGTON (NNI) - The United States has indicated that it is willing to work with the Taliban if they agree to hand over Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden. Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia Karl Inderfurth told Congress that the US is “prepared to work with the Taliban to rid Afghanistan of terrorist networks” if it would hand over bin Laden to American authorities to be tried in this country.
