Recently, there has been a surge in suicide cases across the country, indicating a concerning trend. It is uncertain what factors are exactly contributing to this increase, and more attention and resources may be needed to address and prevent these tragic events.

Earlier this week, three young girls reportedly took their own lives in separate incidents in Ghor, Badghis, and Kunduz provinces.

The causes of these suicides have been attributed to a variety of factors, including poverty, economic struggles, domestic violence, and forced marriages. These issues are complex and deeply rooted in society, highlighting the need for comprehensive efforts to address and prevent them.
