Mullah Nada Mohammad Nadeem, the Acting Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban, called girls going to school an alien culture and said that this culture was brought into the country by Amanullah Khan.
In a video published on social networks, he considers girls going to school as a version of "Revelry and obscenity".
The time and place of recording this video is unknown. As you can see, this Taliban official said in the crowd: Amanullah Khan looked at Westerners and infidels and took this formula from them, why women are sitting at home, why women don't go to school. He brought this version of revelry and obscenity and wanted to implement it in Afghanistan."
Nadim says that religious scholars stood up to Amanullah and said that women's education "is in conflict with Islamism, Afghanism and our zeal."
