8am Daily, Kabul: Taliban have warned the taxi drivers who take women without muharram into their taxis by monitoring the traffic of city taxis.
A taxi driver told daily 8am in Kabul on Sunday, July 3rd, that the Taliban angrily warned him that he should follow the "law" after they saw him getting off a woman with two children from his taxi.
He added that he was surprised by this statement of the Taliban and asked what they meant by observing the law.
The Taliban violently responded to him by saying that they mean the law according to which drivers are obliged not to take women without muharram into taxis.
Meanwhile, the Taliban are inspecting and banning the movement of women inside the city of Kabul, which previously had made it conditional on women to have muharram for traveling an additional distance of 78 kilometers.
