    Afghanistan floods kill dozens, with many still missing
    CNN: Kabul, Afghanistan: Flash flooding in Afghanistan's Parwan province has killed at least 86 people and injured at least 106, according to Rahmatullah Haidari, deputy spokesman for the governor of the province. Officials in in the disaster management ministry said that torrential rain earlier this week triggered flash flooding in the country's Parwan province -- which borders Kabul -- Reuters news agency reported.      Full news...

    Taliban truck bomb, other attacks kill dozen across Afghanistan
    Aljazeera: A wave of attacks across Afghanistan has left at least 12 dead and many wounded in the last 24 hours, officials said, including a Taliban truck bombing in the country's north that targeted a base for Afghan forces.At least three people, including two Afghan commandos and a civilian, were killed in the truck suicide bomb attack in the northern Balkh province, according to Munir Ahmad Farhad, the spokesman for the provincial governor.      Full news...

    Afghanistan- Two young girls found dead in Parwan
    Afghanistan Times: KABUL: The dead bodies of two young girls were found in central Parwan province, local officials said on Saturday. Provincial Governor's Spokesman, Wahida Shahkar said these bodies were found Friday night in Toghbirdi area of capital city, Chairkar.     Tolo News: Some delegates of the Loya Jirga, the grand assembly, who said they were faced with “violent” treatment during the last two days of the event, on Sunday called for the incidents to be addressed.
