By Zabihullah Moosakhail

After the rapid increase in number of citizens leaving Afghanistan, Wolesi Jirga or Lower House of the Parliament on Monday summoned the Minster of Foreign Affairs Salahudin Rabbani and Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi to respond to lawmakers.

Both the ministers hailed the security situation and lack of employment opportunities as the biggest causes behind the flee.

Salahudin Rabbani citing a report by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) said that 146,000 Afghans have left country for Europe so far this year with a high volume of this to Germany.

He said the asylums of only 43 percent of these refugees have been approved and the rest of them have been rejected.

Due to security reasons and domestic problems, some of the countries have toughened rules for migrants and deporting them.

Though, he warned that any deportation of Afghan migrants which is not coordinated with the government of Afghanistan would not be acceptable.

This comes as Norway has announced deporting about 90 percent of Afghan refugees.
