In today’s session of the senate, the head and its members criticized the protest of the Solidarity Party of Afghanistan against the 27th and 28th April, that was held the day before.

Hundreds of SPA members condemned the perpetrators of the 27th and 28th April revolutions in their demonstration, and demanded the prosecution of the Jehadi leaders and commanders, members of the Khalq and Parcham parties and the group of Taliban.

In reaction to this demonstration Fazal Hadi Muslim Yar, head of the senate said, “27th April is, without a doubt, a dark day but 28th April is a memorable day for the Mujahedeen and Muslims of Afghanistan.”

He demanded the Complaints Commission of the Senate to refer the SPA to judicial bodies and question the party about their action.

Mohammad Hassan Hotak, a member also said, “SPA’s judgment of this day is not fair.”

Mr. Hotak requested all senators to follow this insulting act of the SPA through the judiciary and demanded the members of this party to be prosecuted for insulting the Jehad of the people of Afghanistan.

Hafeezullah Rasikh, one of the organizers of the SPA protest told Salam Watandar, “If the senate wants to prosecute this party, it should be in an international court because the head of the judicial bodies of our country are all people associated with the perpetrators of the 27th and 28th April events.”

Mr. Rasikh added, “If they will prosecute us in an international court, then good. Let’s go and see who should be sentenced, people who killed 70,000 Kabulis or those who defend those people (Kabulis); those people who sold our country to the Russian or those that condemn that day (27th April).”

He added, “Those who claim that they have done Jehad, have in reality misused its name and did business with the people of Afghanistan and should be put on trial.”
