Uniting Women of the World

Snapshot of Life in Afghanistan

The Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) is a courageous group of women who are risking their lives to expose the atrocities that Afghani women face every day. When we told you that a donation of a camcorder or camera could help expose the violence they face, thousands of you sent your old video cameras.

We received an e-mail from RAWA telling us they are grateful for what viewers like you have done. Representatives from RAWA added that even though they know they are being trailed, they feel safe now because the world is watching.

If you would like to help RAWA, visit their Web site at www.rawa.org.
