Pakistan must detach itself from fundamentalist vandals
by reopening the borders

The news of the closure of Pak-Afghan borders by Pakistan government on the flow of refugees from Afghanistan in a time when the Taliban and Jehadi butchers have made life impossible in our destroyed homeland, have added a new layer of catastrophe on our tortured and devastated people.

While in one hand the bone-chilling and shuddering winter is in horizon and on the other hand the unavailability of the very basic living facilities and the continuation of the treacherous unending fighting between the Taliban and the Jehadis within country have made the living chance dimmer and dimmer, the Pakistan government has decided to close its borders on Afghan refugees.

Pakistan authorities well know, and if not, they must know, that the actual causes of all misfortunes, wanderings and destruction of the country are the treacherous Taliban and Jehadis. They are the real terrorists not the people who themselves have been the victims of their terrorism for the past twenty years. Therefore, the Pakistani government action (the closure of borders) on the pretext to prevent terrorism is enough derisive and ludicrous. The Pakistan government should know that the houses and offices of the people who have connection with criminal parties of Gulbaddin, Rabbani, Sayyaf and now the Taliban, were/are the dens of terrorism and treacheries against the people of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Again the question is here that why the authorities, instead of prosecution and investigation on the fascist-fundamentalists, while respecting and recognizing them legally, give them better opportunity to put their evil terrorist plans into action? We've been repeatedly reiterated that if Pakistan or any other country wants to befriend with our people, first and foremost they should break their relationship with the warring factions in Afghanistan (Jehadis and Taliban), and expel all the activists of these terrorist parties out of their countries.

Neither Pakistan nor any other country has the right to be fooled with the lies and trickeries of the Taliban. The Taliban disgracefully claim that people leave the country not as a result of their dog-fighting but because of the horrendous drought. But, except the Taliban, no stupid in the world will be found that doesn't know that the flow of the refugees from Afghanistan to Pakistan, above every thing else, is due to the criminal fighting between the fundamentalist bands and the hellish situation which they have created in our trodden country. In many other countries too drought occur, but it doesn't force thousands of people to immigrate. Many years ago during a dreadful famine and drought in the country, even a single person didn't compel to flee the country. Worth mentioning that in the very this year an unprecedented severe drought occurred in different parts of Pakistan and India too, but do the "honorable Taliban" know any Pakistani who had been fled to India or any Indian who had come to Pakistan.

Even if the flow of our people is because of the famine and drought, how can it wipe out or diminish the disgracing incapability scar on the foreheads of the Taliban who are inept enough to help the people even in a very small scale.

More painful than anything is the establishment of refugee camps by the Taliban inside the country --a country where you cannot find any sign of humanitarian generosity and munificence in any corner and nook, and if its citizens had have the ability to leave the country, they would leave on the spur of the moment. This so-called suggestion by the Taliban is not for the sake of humanity but, before everything, is to achieve their own ominous objectives. The mentioned proposal is no more than a criminal plot, because:

1-The gathering of people at gunpoint which are mostly from Shamali and other northern areas of the country that are under the control of the so-called opponents in these camps, gives them the opportunity to use the displaced people as hostages against the criminal Jehadis.

2-To exploit their youth as military force.

3-To make use of women and children in different other ways and subject them every now and then to the most brutal threats and disgraces.

4-In view of the fact that the Taliban have a severe hatred towards our wandering people, therefore the danger of their mass killing is probable and the possibility to use the refugees as cannon fodder is not far from reality.

We ask Pakistan government to give a positive reply to our people's wish for the reopening of borders and don't add to the miseries of our people by taking such an action. The Taliban and Jehadis have committed new inhuman crimes by displacing thousands of our innocent people and Pakistan should not join them by closing the borders or by suggesting to replace them inside Afghanistan. Pakistan must open its border for the most oppressed and disastrous people of the most grief-stricken country of the world under the criminal Taliban and Jehadis.

Down with the Taliban and Jehadi fundamentalists!
Long live solidarity and friendship between Afghan and Pakistan people!

RAWA concerned at Pak-Afghan border closure

F.P. Bureau Report

PESHAWAR - Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan has expressed grave concern over the closure of Pak-Afghan boarder and asked the government of Pakistan to detach itself from fundamentalist vandals by reopening the border.

In a press statement issued here on Saturday, RAWA observed that on the one hand, the bone-chilling winter is on its peak, while on the other, the non-availability of basic facilities and continuation of unending fighting between Taliban and Jehadis within country had made the living chance dimmer and dimmer, the Pakistan had decided to close its borders on Afghan refugees.

It said that Pakistan should know that the actual causes of the misfortunes, wanderings and destruction of the country are the treacherous Taliban and Jehadis.

They are the real terrorists not the people who themselves have been the victims of their terrorism for the past 20 years.

The closure of border on the pretext of preventing terrorism is enough derisive and ludicrous.

The houses and offices of the people having connection with the Taliban and Jehadis are the dens of terrorism against the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Why the authorities instead of prosecution and investigation on these organisations are respecting and recognising them legally, give them better opportunity to put their terrorist plans into action? “We have been repeatedly reiterated that if Pakistan or any other country wants to befriend with our people, they should break their relationship with the warring factions in Afghanistan and expel all the activists of these terrorists’ parties out of their countries”, RAWA added.

Ridiculing the claims of Taliban’s that the people leave the country because of the horrendous drought, the Afghan women organisation said that they could not befool the world by telling lie.

In many other countries, drought occurs but it does not force thousands of people to migrate.

Many years ago during a dreadful famine and drought in the country, even a single person did not compel to flee the country.

They asked Taliban as to whether had ever heard that any Pakistani had fled to India or any Indian who had come to Pakistan in the recent severe drought in those countries.

RAWA continued, “More painful than anything is the establishment of refugees camps by the Taliban inside the country- a country where you cannot find any sign of humanitarian generosity and munificence in any corner and nook and if its citizens had have the ability to leave the country, they would leave on the spur of the movement.

The so-called suggestion by the Taliban is not for the sake of humanity but before everything is to achieve their own ominous objectives.

The mention proposal is no more than a criminal plot because- The gathering of people at gunpoint which are mostly from Shamali and other northern areas of the country that are under the control of the so-called opponents in these camps, gives them the opportunity to use the displaced people as hostages against the criminal jehadis.

II) To exploit their youth as military force, III) To make use of women and children in different other ways and subject them ever now and then to the most brutal threats and disgraces.

IV) In view of the fact that the Taliban have a severe hatred towards our wandering people, therefore the danger of their mass killing is probable and the possibility to use the refugees as cannon fodder is not far from reality.

“We ask Pakistan government to give a positive reply to our people’s wish for the reopening of borders and don’t add to the miseries of our people by taking such an action.

The Taliban and Jehadis have committed new inhuman crimes by displacing thousands of our innocent people and Pakistan should not join them by closing the borders or by suggesting replacing them inside Afghanistan.
